Our story
Started over a long winter
Driftwood opened in 2018 with one idea: a small, calm coffee shop on the coast where the regulars become friends. Not a chain, not a destination — just a good room.
We have grown since then. The back room hosts book clubs, quiet meetings, and the occasional birthday. The kitchen has a tight, seasonal menu. The coffee is single-origin and we mean it.
Today we are a small team that cares about doing this slowly and well. We hope the room feels like that.

Local & seasonal
We buy from suppliers we can name and adjust the menu as the seasons turn. Shorter trips, better food.

Open to everyone
No reservations required for a coffee. No pressure to order more. Stay for ten minutes or three hours — both are fine.

From sourcing to packaging, we try to pick the better path. It is a practice, not a posture.

Founder & barista
Anna started Driftwood in 2018 with the idea of a slow, welcoming café on the coast. She still pulls most of the morning shots.

Head baker & kitchen
Erik bakes the bread every morning and runs the kitchen. Seasonal, careful, honest food — that is the brief.

Events & front of house
Sara coordinates the back-room bookings and every event from quiz nights to the autumn open house. She likes a good crowd.
